1.    Why do you think Proverbs 3:5-6 are such special verses to so many Christians?

2.    Has there been a time in your life where these verses have meant something special to you that you would like to share with the group?

3.    What do we mean by truthful trust? What is the relationship between the Word of God and our understanding of God’s character and the confidence that he gives us as we navigate life’s difficulties?

4.    How is it that we can determine to trust in God tenaciously even when we do not feel like it or when we are overwhelmed?

5.    What are some of the seasons in life that believers sometimes struggle in getting through? Are there any other verses in the Bible that are particularly comforting and encouraging during these times?

6.    What do we mean by total trust as noted in verse five?

7.    How does leaning to our own understanding and being wise in our own eyes compete with total trust in God?
