Guest Services
A warm welcome and a smiling face is an important part of being a member of our guest services team. If you have a question when you first attend our church, please ask one of our greeters for assistance. They are here to help you. Greeters not only greet at the main entrances but also staff our Welcome Center on Sundays.
DINNER FOR EIGHT
Join us for Dinner for Eight as we make good friends and eat delicious food. This is a wonderful way for all married couples, single ladies and men, and widows and widowers to get to know people in our church whom you may never otherwise meet. Each group has 8 people, or 6 in some cases, and each of the pairs will host a dinner in their home one time in the four-month period. The host will prepare the main dish, and the others will bring the side dishes. The food is always good, and the fellowship is fantastic. To get involved contact Pastor Huffman.
SAFETY team
Keeping our church safe is a priority at Morningside. Morningside has gifted men and women who not only work or have experience in the area of safety but also have dedicated themselves to keeping our people protected during each service.
Morningside has trained safety and medical teams who are on call at a moment’s notice and can help in any way possible. If you have expertise in either of these fields and are interested in serving, please contact Facilities Manager Pastor Webb.
Ministry Recruitment
The ministry fair is an opportunity at the beginning of the school year to be exposed to some of the various ministries at Morningside. It meets in the mall lobby and is like a job fair for church ministries. If you want to be involved in ministry, this is a good place to start, but you do not have to wait to get involved in ministry. For more information or to get involved, please contact Pastor Tom Stuhl, or Pastor Todd Jones, or call 864.297.7890.
