Our goal is to encourage all men to form meaningful, transparent, encouraging relationships through 4 community-focused activities:

  • Prayer - with and for one another

  • Fellowship - spending the time to know and trust each other so we can grow together towards Christlikeness

  • Service - working together to give back to our church and our community

  • Discipling - Iron sharpeneth Iron

There are many ways for our men to connect and serve.

MINISTRY MENTORInG

At Morningside, we have 35 current or former pastors. We also have a number of young men who are training for the ministry. So Pastor Crockett had a vision to start a class to allow pastors to mentor future pastors. Each month the group meets for a roundtable discussion of a practical issue in ministry. And each month the ministry mentor meets with his assigned student for lunch, coffee, or to make a ministry visit. The Ministry Mentoring group provides invaluable practical training outside the walls of an academic classroom to help young men solidify their call to ministry and exercise their gifts. Ministry Mentoring men are also given opportunities to preach and be placed in internships at Morningside-supported church plants across the country.
